Supported Distance Learning Programme Fees:
Working out your course fees
You can start at any time to study by distance learning through MCG
for a qualification awarded by CIPS. We will accept you for study by
supported distance learning if you have the necessary entry
requirements and are sufficiently competent in dealing with material
and examinations in English. We will not accept you as a student
unless there is an approved exam venue which you can attend to sit
the CIPS exams.
If you are not sure which of the five Levels of study to start
with, ask your nearest CIPS office or send us a copy of your CV and
we will advise you. Once the correct Level of study has been
agreed, all you have to do is confirm your delivery address and send
MCG the correct amount from the chart and payment methods below. We
will then :
·
Send you the
study material by courier
·
Prepare a
personalised study schedule for you
·
Assign a
tutor to you and provide you with specific study instructions based
on your schedule
You can spread your study over any period of time which is suitable
to you and you only need to pay Membership Fees and Exam Enrolment
Fees to CIPS when you feel you are ready to sit one or more of their
exams. Exams outside the UK are currently scheduled by CIPS during
the third weeks of May, July and November each year and you can sit
as many or as few exams as you wish at each sitting. You will
however need to meet the deadline dates set by CIPS to join as a
Student Member and enrol for their exams. This is usually two months
before any exam sitting. We can help you to find the approved exam
venues nearest to you, or you can ask CIPS or look on the Exam
Enrolment Forms on the CIPS web site.
You will also need to pay administration and exam invigilation fees
to the venue where you sit your CIPS exams.
So, study fees fall into the following four categories :
1.
Study fees
payable to MCG for supported distance learning which include study
material, recommended reference text books, a study schedule and a
tutor who will provide feedback on assignments which you submit by
email.
2.

3.
CIPS Exam
Enrolment fees payable to CIPS
4.
